Ms Kai Britt Boschmann is Chief Marketing & Communications officer with a global remit for its Marketing and Communications strategy at International SOS, the world’s leading health and security assistance services company and Ambassador for Duty of Care, headquartered in London & Singapore and operating in 90 countries. Kai is also Executive Director of the International SOS Foundation, a thinktank leading research and debate into the subjects of Duty of Care and Sustainability.
In addition, she chairs the British Standards Committee and sits on the global ISO committee for Travel Risk Management.
Kai sits on Ipsos Mori Reputation Council.
Kai joined International SOS in September 2011 from Cable&Wireless Worldwide plc, where she was Corporate Affairs Director, responsible for its global communications strategy. Before joining the challenger telecoms provider, Kai worked in international retailing for ten years as Communications Director for Burger King and Dixons Group plc. Prior to that, Kai spent six years with Federal Express Corp. (FedEx) in marketing management roles and as their Head of EMEA Communications.
She has lived and worked in the US, France, Holland, Germany, Belgium and the UK.
She holds an MA in Marketing Communications from a prestigious business school in Paris, France and an MBA from European University (Brussels campus). Kai completed the Cranfield University management development center’s marketing directors' programme on leading profitable growth.
Kai has won a number of industry accolades including, Media Boss of the Year, Most influential PR person for four consecutive years, Best Thought-Leadership Research, Best Corporate and Financial PR Campaign, Best Consumer PR Campaign, Best Internal Communications Programme, Best Use of New Media in PR and most recently Best Website, Best Crisis Communications and Best Global B2B PR campaign.
Outside of work, Kai is a qualified, advanced Gym & Fitness and Yoga Instructor (Personal Trainer). She studied Nutrition & Life Coaching at FIE, accredited by the Institute of Leadership & Management.
She is a certified Mental Health First Aider.
Her most recent challenges including learning to play the piano and studying the psychology of “Flow”.
