Gary LaBranche, FASAE, CAE, is the Chief Executive Officer of RIMS, the risk management society®, a global professional association committed to advancing the professional practice of risk management. RIMS provides networking, professional development, certification, advocacy, and research opportunities to more than 200,000 risk practitioners in 60 countries. Founded in 1950, the society publishes Risk Management and produces RISKWORLD, the largest annual gathering of the global risk community. 

As CEO, LaBranche provides strategic executive leadership to advance the society’s mission and represents RIMS to Congress, the media, and other audiences.  LaBranche has been an association professional for 41+ years and has served as CEO for three other organisations and as a senior executive at several others. He is a member of the US Chamber’s Association Committee of 100. He is treasurer of the International Federation of Risk Management Associations.
