Dr. Kennette Thigpen Harris, affectionately known as Dr K serves as Workplace Options’ Chief Clinical Officer. In this role Kennettte strategizes in developing new solutions that will drive process improvements focused on innovative service delivery to improve overall clinical services, outcomes, and participant experience.
In the decade that Kennette has been employed with Workplace Options, she has held several positions, including Operations Manager, Director of Global Clinical Operations, and Vice President of Clinical Crisis and Specialty Services. Kennette has led her teams in implementing new clinical services that support participants in need of emotional support as well as in helping respond to critical incidents ranging from terrorist attacks to natural disasters.
Kennette empowers and brings undeniable engagement for those that she encounters. In the wellbeing industry her inspiring innovative thinking is full of insight and information that has led to her speaking at multiple conferences and being featured in Forbes, Medium, and Authority Magazine to name a few.
Kennette’s passion for wellbeing and helping people extends well beyond her professional life. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers and We the World and serves on the board for the Wesley Shelter and Sallie B Howard School. She additionally serves as the CEO of Welltrust Partners.
Kennette holds a PhD in International Psychology with a concentration in trauma from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, as well as a master’s degree in social work from East Carolina University.
